Best Green Blogs is a growing independent green weblog directory. We feature many different weblogs from all over the world that focus on a wide variety of green and sustainability issues, people, things, places and ideas. To find out more about what the site is all about, click here.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
Most importantly: We only list weblogs that deal with green and sustainability issues, people, places, things and ideas in this directory. If you are looking to add your blog on French poodles, sexual enhancement pills, pornstars, MLM, internet marketing ploys etc.., this is not the place for it, you will be wasting your time and mine. If your site is merely re-blogged material from other blogs or created just for Adsense keywords, then once again your blog will not be accepted into the directory. We reserve the right to refuse entry, but generally we accept everyone who follows the rules.
We love blogs that are unique and interesting and that communicate the author(s) point of view, bring relevant and interesting information and news about the environment, cool green ideas, people, products and other green flotsam from the interwebs..
Best Green Blogs is human edited, not by robots, so each submission is looked at carefully and added by hand. Beep. Robots just don’t provide that kind of good service. We are looking for unique, interesting blogs with green ideas, conversations and content that readers want to read, not green splogs with nothing but advertising.
Also, by having a return text link back to us in your Blogroll before you submit your site here, increases the likelihood of you getting listed by 100%!! If you can’t offer a reciprocal link, please consider becoming a supporting member; they are not required to have a reciprocal link (although most do because they like us so much =), plus you get extra special benefits too.
Non Commercial Green Blogs?
Listing your green and sustainable themed weblog is free for non-profit organizations and non-commercial themed green blogs and by donation for commercial themed blogs. Having affiliate links on your personal green blog is generally fine. If your blog is geared towards getting people to visit your website promoting a green product, service, company or idea, that’s what’s considered a “commercial blog “, skip down to the next section.
In order to be listed in our blog directory for free, we do request a reciprocal text link back to us in your Blogroll or links page. You can also add an icon on the front page of your blog if you like. Go ahead and add the text link back to us first before you click the green arrow below labeled “Non Commercial Green Blog” below to add your blog to the directory.
