You can become a site supporter for $20 a year and get listed with 24 hours and receive some other nifty benefits such as increased traffic and a more comprehensive listing. Supporters receive increased site visibility as well as updates to your listing if your site changes.
By becoming a yearly Site Supporter, your green blog receives the following benefits beyond just a basic listing in the blog directory:
* We receive many submissions each day to the blog directory, all of which get placed in a queue for data entry. You donation puts your site at the head of the queue for entry and will be entered in the directory within 2 to 24 hours that you submit it.
* A featured rotated listing on the front page and the sidebar under the Featured Site Supporter section which runs on every page of the directory.
* Your blog listing in the directory gets a Site Supporter Icon as well to show that you support independent green media!
* Your can include tags to your listing and they will show up on the Tag Clouds section which is on the bottom of every page as well as the top of the front page.
* You can add your Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, Friendfeed, or other Social Media/Communication links to your listing. This will allow your readers more options to connect with you and your blog through lifestreaming.
*There are no reciprocal linking requirements for site supporters either. Some sites are not able to offer return links to our high-trafficked directory, so this can be a useful option.
* Your green blog will also get indexed into Greenblogsear.ch, our custom Google search engine which provides visitors with a detailed search of only green and sustainable themed blogs.
* For $20 a year or less than 2 dollars a month you will be promoting your great green blog; helping to pay for the website hosting and maintenance and help grow the green blogosphere and showing your support behind what we do.
* When your site supporter subscription rebills in one year from now, I will update your listing with a current screenshot and any other current info that has changed (as well as anytime you email me to). This keeps your listing fresh and current. Your listing will also move to the front page of the site on your rebill date.
We don’t accept banner or text advertising on our site and so we rely on the generosity of our site supporters to keep the site growing.
