If your blog is for a commercial enterprise, i.e. you use it to promote your green and sustainable themed store, marketing, consulting, real estate, business or product, your listing fee is $40 which goes toward supporting the only green blog directory on the internet and receives the following benefits:
* Your listing will show up ahead of basic free listings.
All listings are rotated under each category. If you are a site supporter, then your listing shows up before the regular rotated listings. For instance, let’s say your blog is about green tech. Becoming a supporter means your listing shows up at or near the top of the first page (or at least on the first page for more popular categories) With over 1400 green blogs in the directory this allows you to showcase your blog!
* We receive many submissions each day to the blog directory, all of which get placed in a queue for data entry. You donation puts your site at the head of the queue for entry and will be entered in the directory within 2 to 24 hours that you submit it.
* A featured rotated listing on the front page and the sidebar under the Featured Site Supporter section which runs on every page of the directory.
* Your blog listing in the directory gets a Site Supporter Icon as well.
* The ability to add tags to your listing under which your listing will show up on the Tag Clouds section which is on the bottom of every page as well as the top of the front page.
* You can add your green business website link, Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, Friendfeed, or other Social Media/Communication links to your green blog listing. This will allow your readers more options to connect with you and your company through lifestreaming.
* There are no reciprocal linking requirements for commercial green blogs either. Some sites are not able to offer return links to our high-trafficked directory, so this can be a useful option.
* Your company green blog will also get indexed into Greenblogsear.ch, our custom Google search engine which provides visitors with a detailed search of only green and sustainable themed blogs.
* I’ll update your blog listing when you make changes and your screenshot on your site listing once a month to make it current. When your commercial listing subscription rebills at the lower rate of $25 a year from now, I will also update your green blog listing and your green blog screenshot, and move your site listing to the front page.
* Your blog RSS feeds will be displayed as well as the 10 most recent entry titles. When visitors click on your RSS feeds, they will go directly to your site.
* Your listing will also include your blog location for the green blog map, a useful tool for readers to find other local green bloggers.
* For $40 for the first year ($25 after the first year) ($3.25 a month, the cost of one organic fair trade chai latte a month), you will be showcasing your commercial green blog on the only green blog directory on the internet. You will also be helping to grow independent green media, to pay for the website hosting and maintenance and showing your support for what we do.
We don’t accept banner or text advertising on our site and so we rely on the generosity of our site supporters to keep the site growing.
